Clay Street - You’ll find a charming collection of cafes, restaurants, and unique shops on this downtown street. Clay Street is also the location of outdoor music events in the summer.

The Winery at Iron Gate Farm - This local award-winning vineyard offers wine tastings and tours. The winery is one of several in Alamance County and can be found at 2540 Lynch Store Road, a short drive north of Mebane.

Public Library - The library is located near downtown at 101 S. First Street in a refurbished, historic hosiery mill.

Mebane Historical Museum- Hours, Tuesday through Friday,10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Saturday,
10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Mebane Train Display - Open the second Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. This unique collection of model trains is at 209 West Jackson Street.

Durham Performing Arts Center - This 27,000-seat theater features Broadway touring productions, high-profile concerts, and comedy events. The center is a 30-minute drive from Mebane.
